What makes it worth it – and what doesn’t

I adored the prime location, making it easy to explore charming Carmel on foot! The king suite was clean, comfortable, and well-polished with friendly service that enhanced our experience.

Unfortunately, the breakfast area was cramped, leading to crowded mornings. Additionally, noise disturbances from neighboring guests interrupted the otherwise pleasant ambiance during our stay.

The hotel had an excellent location to all the shops and restaurants in the area. Our room was decent size and had all the basic necessities we needed for our stay!

It wasn’t cheap but still acceptable.

my stay at best western was fantastic! the location was perfect, just a couple of blocks from the beach and surrounded by amazing restaurants. my king room was newly remodeled, clean, and cozy. i loved the self-serve breakfast, especially the fresh fruit and the neat kitchen area. the parking availability was a plus too!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and appreciated the perfect central location that made exploring the town a breeze, with the delightful Pilgrim's Way Community Bookstore and Secret Garden just a few steps away and the beautiful Carmel Plaza a short walk further. the communal balcony area offered stunning views of the ocean, making it a great spot to unwind with a glass of wine in the evening.

the room was really dirty, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. the location was super convenient, close to shops and restaurants. staff were friendly and helpful. breakfast had good options for a quick bite.

Exceptional location in the center of Carmel. Clean and comfy queen room with a private bathroom. It had a flat-screen TV, refrigerator, and a coffee machine. The outdoor swimming pool was a nice plus. Breakfast included fresh bagels and fruits, though the breakfast area was small.
